More About Hypnosis...
Hypnosis is a powerful tool for self-improvement in all areas of your life
- mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually. By accessing the subconscious
mind, you allow yourself to get to the root or the "forgotten" programming
- the habitual and behavioral controlling thoughts, habits, beliefs, feelings
and emotions - that you may have taken for granted, explaining it as, "That's
the way I am." This "unconscious" thought process has been directing
your life. Hypnosis assists you to be receptive to accessing and transforming
those beliefs and habits quickly and easily so that personal growth can be
achieved and you can begin to take control of your life!
Please know the hypnotist will offer positive suggestions and self-hypnosis "tools" for
you during your session. It is through your receptivity, commitment and dedication
to accepting the suggestions and using the "tools" offered that permanent
change is maintained. Like any habit, it requires consistent reinforcement.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What does it feel like to be hypnotized? During hypnosis, your body is deeply
relaxed yet your mind is very alert, very aware of all sounds and movements
that are going on around you. You may experience physical sensations, such
as tingling in fingers or limbs; numbness; warmth or coolness; a heavy sensation,
like you are sinking into the chair; or, a light, floating feeling or sensation;
eyes may flutter, roam or water. Some people also experience increased emotions.
Clients are encouraged to express themselves any way necessary so to accelerate
healing and their personal potential.
How is information received? You may receive it in a variety of ways - a knowing
or an awareness; visualize or picture of images; as an impression; in detail
or fragmentary; a sensation information is being whispered in your ear; as
quick and cloudy impressions; you may experience it like watching a movie,
complete with audio and visual. As each person is unique, so is their ability
to receive information. While in session, trust the way you receive it. It
will be right and perfect for you. |
